I’ve just learned that this very domain on which this site is set up was once used by a company called ADV films, which would have worked on the Mutineer’s Moon TV series.

That would have been an awesome series if you ask me…

Sadly the company shut down, the domain left to rot and the entire project abandoned.

This sux quite bad for the David Weber fans. Imagine getting a series like Firefly or Battlestar Galactica or Star Trek…it would have been awesome. I guess we’ll never really know now.

While browsing around on the old iteration of the site, I came across a few cool concepts from the TV-series-to-be, all designs of Chad Townsend, a contract artist Specializing in Character Design, Conceptual Art, Illustration and Comics.

I hope I won’t get in hot water by posting a few of these pictures, but I feel that the lovers of Mutineer’s Moon would enjoy having a couple of pictures for posterity. Even if only to say…
